The mission of Breath of Life International is to speak and teach the Word of God so that the hearer is revived, renewed, and restored to fulfill God's purpose in life.
Our purpose is to "inspire you for life"©.
Statement of Faith
Word of God
We believe the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts; written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teaching. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit permanently indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
The Trinity
We believe there is one true and living God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct, but harmonious offices, in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

Integrity

Biography
Patricia Scruggs is a speaker and Bible teacher. With a passion to empower others, she speaks words of inspiration for awakening purpose...by the Holy Spirit! She has a heart for those who are held captive by the struggles and challenges of past hurts, disappointments and pains; and her desire is to see others walk in total freedom, wholeness and God given purpose.
Most of her professional career has been spent in corporate America working as administrator, manager and customer service representative. Patricia holds an Associate Degree in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Atlanta, a certificate in Biblical Counseling from the American Association of Christian Counselors, Biblical studies and course work at LIFE Bible Institute, Beulah Heights Bible College and Precept Ministries. She received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and is continuing studies toward a Masters in Christian Counseling. As a member of Toastmasters International, Patricia won first place in the 2008 Inspirational Speech Competition at the Area and District levels.
She is the daughter of a Baptist minister and is an heir to a legacy of ministers who have shown an unceasing heart to help others. Patricia has actively served the local church body as New Members Ministry coordinator, Teachers Training coordinator, Single Parent Ministry leader, Christian counselor, teacher, trainer, prayer intercessor; and has held many other leadership roles. She is a mentor to young women, coaching them through life’s challenges and is fondly called, "Big Sister Patricia." It is out of her continuous service and a sincere desire to help others that Patricia established Breath of Life International in March, 2007.
Patricia’s life story has taken her on a spiritual journey through divorce, single parenting, and financial ruin. She has overcome personal battles with depression, low self-esteem, and rejection – all of which she has conquered victoriously by the washing of the Word, restoration by the Holy Spirit and the love of Jesus Christ. It is via the voice of her past triumphs through which she speaks life to others with such passion, power, and results.
Of all her accomplishments, Patricia is most proud of being mother to her wonderful 25-year-old son, Joshua, a minister of the Gospel, who she describes as "the joy of her life." She resides outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
